I was going to go and see her in Shepherd's Bush once but when I noticed that I was going to be charged three separate fees on top of the ticket price I decided I wouldn't, on principle. (Also see "Why I never became a member of Middlesex CCC.")
I've been a fan of Suzanne Vega since I was a teenager back in the 80's. I really enjoy her great lyrics and cool vibrato-less voice.
I've seen her live a few times, but my only visit to the Shepherd's Bush Empire was for Elvis Costello - awesome! :-)
Indeed, a mighty fine album ... I saw her live in concert a couple of times in the 80s.
