Looking the position up in the databases tells us the when, where and what happened next. Contemporary reporting in the BCM doesn't mention anything special about the game other than to draw attention to the originality of the opening.
The first comment, which kindly avoided letting the computer give us the answer - thanks, much appreciated - also alludes to the backstory, which in its way is as interesting as the answer itself.
Oh (says the second anonymous). Well maybe, aware of the trick just mentioned, he played 1...Qa1+ 2 Kg2 Qb2+ 3 Kh3 Qf6, hoping that White would try the same 4 Nxf5 Qxf5 5 Bg4 only to lose after ...Qxg4+ ?
Or not. Come on, give the answer. We're not going to guess it or look it up. (that would be first anonymous)

Considering comments to the last post, it seems computers can help with WHN?s as well as adjournment analysis!

But we will get on to that on Friday.
Well (says a different anonymous), I'd go 1 h3, threatening 2 Nxf5 Qxf5 3 Bg4 which looks hard to meet.
An interesting concept perhaps only refuted by the fact that it is Black's move.

Howdi second anonymous. Thanks for dropping by.
EJH will be back tomorrow with a follow up post that will - I expect - make everything clear.
