It was a book-of-the-month selection for some book club when it was published 50-odd years ago, meaning that there are now thousands (maybe millions) of used copies on the market. I picked it up for two bucks on eBay and was glad I didn't pay more. It starts out well but becomes dreadfully tedious before too long. I finished it only by skimming entire chapters. - Mark
I bought it in an English language secondhand bookshop in MaĆ³ on Menorca last year. I've not read it.
