I wouldn't go as far as Alexey, but I don't think it's as bad as the others so far in the series. Or perhaps the bar has been lowered so far, I no longer have any ability to draw such distinctions...

If the book was called "Julian Clary's Best Games" the cover would be fine. But it isn't so it's not.

If I had the required skills I would perhaps have excised the wording from the cover and invited people to guess who it was.

The worst covers by far are those
for the Everyman Chess's "Mastering the..." series, which feature very phallic pawns. The one for Byron Jacob's "Mastering the Opening" is particularly disturbing.
