Cat Chess

We're pretty serious about our chess blogging over here at Streatham and Brixton. But sometimes, I just want to do what the rest of the internet does and . . . blog a picture of a cat on a Friday afternoon! So pictured here preparing amongst my chess books a response to the Bird Variation, no doubt, it's south London's newest Katsparov-wannabe, Princess Osiana.

(See also, and also, and also, and also/5628, and also, and also, and especially. And also!)

500 Master Games of Chess. Love it. Went through the lot when I was about nine. It made me the player I am today. (Take that any way you wish!)

Does the arrival of the cats coincide with a sudden increase in Battleships prowess for Sarah? I think we should be told.
